An orphaned child from Shallowsedge who was housed at a local abbey. Her good nature and musical skill would catch the attention of the clergy of the Platinum Dragon, and she would relocate to the Lustrous Bastion in Kordr, where she would follow the voice of Tarali to become the first War Chorister of Bahamut, thwart the Children of the Fell Knight and prevent a devilish incursion into the city.
Saira was a shorter than average human with fair skin and long red hair. She usually wore the traditional habit of a Bahamutist.
In 1186 ACI, during the course of her adventure, she had cut her hair down to a short length. She had added a tattoo of Tarali, Aspect of Conviction, as well as a magical barrier tattoo, taking the form of draconic wings down her arms and skeletal draconic geometric spine over her own. In combat, she could be seen wearing armor made of Green Dragonscale, taken as a trophy from the evil Zenoa.
Saira was a girl with an unshakeable belief in her convictions, and always willing to pursue the course of righteousness, no matter the hardship or cost, which caught the attention of the Aspect of Conviction, Tarali of the Dragonflight. Saira was prone to decisive action, which could often bring her into conflict with those around her, including her allies in the Platinum Fighters and the leadership of the Lustrous Bastion.
Saira's talent for music transcended artistry and reached into the realm of magic. As such, the toot of her flute could inspire and bolster her allies. As she developed her abilities, she became capable of conjuring and animating objects.
Despite her modest frame, Saira showed a surprising aptitude for feats of raw strength. Armed with her trusty battering ram, she smashed her way through a number of doors, walls, and combatants.
As the host of a divine entity, Saira could harness the power of the upper planes for short bursts of time. The raw power of divinity unleashed itself with her every swing, but would harm both herself and any allies who happened to be nearby.
Guided by the voice of the Aspect of Conviction, Saira stole away into the crypts beneath the Lustrous Bastion and unearthed the Tail of Tarali, a sacred censer capable of functioning as a flail. Though she was not experienced in its use, when it did strike true, its victim was sure to feel its power.
Saira also claimed the Star of Iron, which she would occasionally use instead of the Tail. When Saira struck an enemy with this maul, the victim would suffer a hex that hampered their combat abilities. The appearance of the Star of Iron could also be freely changed at Saira's will. The party came to refer to the maul as the Banestick.
In the aftermath of the fight against Zenoa, Saira had the green dragon's scales fashioned into a set of armor, which provided her resilience against poison and greater defense.
An Infernal Bloodstone taken from an Ophidian devil allowed Saira to turn her luck in her favor, though at the cost of her own lifeforce.
