After a deep personal tragedy, Yelen Haussmann awoke to the latent powers stemming from her family's draconic bloodline. She started working for the New Urban Messegners from a very young age, and earned the nickname of the "NUM tot." While traveling for work, she would become entangled in conflict and embark on an adventure.
¶ Physical Description
Yelen was a human woman of average height and build. However, as a result of her draconic bloodline, Yelen was often mistaken as non-human. Her hair was a dark blue, the sclera of her eyes was black and her pupils red, and she sported a prominent "crack" across her face.
Yelen would almost only ever be seen wearing the typicaln brown coat associated with the NUM, and carried her NUM branded Bag of Holding.
¶ Personality
Yelen was sharp-witted and bold, often being willing to call others out directly to their faces. She would not hesitate to speak her mind, whether to close friends or relative strangers, and often could come off as blunt. She was quick to spring into action whenever necessary, and was unafraid to take risks.
¶ Abilities
Yelen was, first and foremost, a courier. Over her many years with NUM, she grew very light on her feet. Enhanced by her latent magic, Yelen was known to move at exceptional speeds, and had several means of teleporting short distances.
She was also a skilled combatant, preferring to fight with a pair of daggers in hand.
Finally, despite her relatively modest physical strength, Yelen had a supernatural inclination toward performing feats of strength, even (and especially) when her strength was at its lowest, either due to curse, exhaustion, or being magically weakened.
¶ Magic Items
Yelen carried a standard issue NUM Bag of Holding. She also wore a Ring of Water Walking and a ring of Fire Resistance.
After meeting the rest of the Storm Breakers, she received the Bracer of Harm from Leotar. Though he was unaware of the bracer's curse because it never affected him, Yelen fell victim to its harmful effects after her first use of it, nearly sapping all of her strength and killing her. After reversing the curse, she "gifted" the bracer to the former "lord" Gad of the Pariah's Court.
While exploring the Stronghold of Zellezix, Yelen acquired the Tentacle Rod, a weapon topped by three rubbery tentacles which could damage and harry her foes, which she could frequently be seen employing.
Yelen was gifted the Black Arms of the Champion, a pair of black metal gauntlets that supernaturally enhanced her strength and gave her the ability to smash foes to the ground.
One of her daggers was an enchanted blade named Spark, which shocked her foes when it struck and chained its bolts of lightning to other targets.
